“Prop K”

by on October 14, 2004

Dear Editor,

Your article says that if prop K fails, 1000 city workers will go to the unemployment line. Hopefully there will be a chance to get ridof (a mere) thousand city workers. While it is only a good start it will head us the in the right direction. Of course the $88,000 each they cost (on average) will save more than K could bring in will go along way to alleviate the (phony) deficit. The cost of government is the problem, not lack of taxes.
