This is the Cooper Projects, 6-7,000 public housing residents used to live here. Even though there was very little damage to the buildings, the Housing Authority New Orleans is shutting down the Copper projects, which sits on valuable realistate. After December 31 tenant are not allowed on the property and are subject to arrest and HANO is not responsible for any of their possessions.
