Ms. Woldow has clearly and eloquently presented the case for upgrading School Food in the SFUSD. This is the culmination of a decade of concerted work in this area and would finally align our actions with our best ideals about how to best feed children in our schools.It is said that we should judge a society by how it treats its most vulnerable members. I hope that the San Francisco Board of Education is able to keep this in mind as it evaluates the costs and benefits of changing how we provide for the nutritional well-being of SFUSD students.It would be very gratifying to have our schools reflect the interest and care that our communities have in good food.I hope we will reach for this essential step in supporting the health of SFUSD children.Thank you Ms. Woldow for your commitment, caring and vision.
