Both these measures need to fail in order to bring fiscal sanity back to California. I do not for one minute believe the Governor\’s threats. I have heard these dire threats before and they have never materialized. Remember the recent state parks boondoggle! There are plenty of places to cut government waste and bureaucracy without affecting schools. I urge a NO vote on both measures. When more people are employed in this state, there will be greater tax revenue. That can only happen with a less business- and tax-hostile environment.
