I wonder whether the military will ultimately step in — a coup d’etat. The military plays a unique role in the Egyptian economy. The military owns virtually every industry in the country, including car assembly, clothing, manufacture of kitchen appliances, natural gas bottles, some of the foodstuffs is grown and/or processed by the military, the construction of roads, highways, bridges. Clearly, Egypt is a work in progress.
