Talking Spirituality: Secrets of Meditation

by Natalie Grigson on October 7, 2013

In a couple of previous posts, I’ve shared with you some guided online meditations. Now I have no idea if you guys are actually joining me in these things, and yet, I keep sharing them with you, and will continue to do so until I get at least one of you readers out there to sit down and meditate with me.

Why? Well, in the words of this latest guided meditation, Deepak Chopra’s Secrets of Meditation, taking this time each day will allow you to…

• Gain more energy
• Sleep better
• Experience more joy, flow and appreciation for life
• Strengthen your connections with family and friends
• Stop worrying and enjoy each day more
• Improve your creative thinking
• Manage your stress
• Increase your productivity

Which all sounds pretty good, right? But even more so, meditating in a group allows you to raise your energy, and that of those around you to an even greater degree. On a deep level, we are all connected—we are all one energy, one Life. On a more concrete level, humans are social creatures. In forming a meditation community, you can accomplish all of those neat little bullet points listed above, but you’ll also connect more deeply with others, and in turn yourself.

Yes, even if it is an online community.

So join me, Deepak Chopra, and the millions of others from all over the world in this 2-week guided meditation, the Secrets of Meditation. It starts on October 7th, and the only thing it will cost you is fifteen minutes of your time each day.

Namaste, everybody.
