State Party Endorsements; Mid-Market Area …

by on February 14, 2012

To the Editor:

There is no provision in the California Democratic Party rules which states a rule must be broken in order for the Supercommittee to bring this to the floor of the convention. I was one of two delegates that appealed the 50th Assembly District endorsement to the Supercommittee, served on that committee and spoke in favor of moving it to the floor. The supercommittee can do what it likes. The fact that many of those appointed to serve on the committee were staffers for Assembly Speaker John Perez was a factor.

To the Editor:

Thanks for the update about Mid-Market. I walk through this area almost daily and I don’t think I could do it without hope that things will eventually get better.
