To the Editors:
RE. “Obama Needs a Primary Challenge in 2012” (BeyondChron, April 12, 2011), President Barack Obama’s administration has been different, in many ways, from what one hoped for from the candidate during his presidential campaign.
Unfortunately, the choices offered by the Republican Party presidential wannabes for 2012 and their Tea Party fans don’t offer a good alternative for voters.
Let’s remember that President Obama inherited abysmal messes coming into office, in addition to confronting an overwhelming dysfunctional governmental system.
The spirit of the “Audacity of Hope” remains vibrant and bright.
Let us hope. Let us strive to work together to achieve the best for our community, our nation and our world.
