Last Day to View ‘Forgotten Mid-Market’ Exhibit

by on February 16, 2006

Today will be the last day Red Ink Gallery will host the ‘Forgotten
Mid-Market,’ an historic photo exhibit that reveals a large selection
of photos of the Mid-Market neighborhood over the past 70 years to the
public for the first time. These photos show how Mid-Market was long the
entertainment capital of the Bay Area, attracting people of all races,
ages, and income levels. The exhibit is at 1035 Market Street, between
6th and 7th Streets. Admission is free. If you missed the exhibit until,
we urge you to take this final opportunity – many of the photos will
unlikely be unavialable to the public after it ends!
