Hotel Fairness Measure to Deliver Signatures Today

by Paul Hogarth on July 6, 2010

Labor leaders have announced they will deliver enough signatures at City Hall today to qualify the Hotel Fairness Initiative for the November ballot. A press conference is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. today. As this year’s budget process has showed us, even small influxes of revenue can make or break whether crucial programs are saved in San Francisco. With massive budget problems in the coming years, passing the Hotel Fairness Initiative this year could help resolve future budget problems that we know are inevitable.
