Concerts at the Cadillac: Unidentified Flying Duet

by Paul Hogarth on August 20, 2010

Four months ago, the group Unidentified Flying Quintet performed at the Cadillac Hotel — in a well-received concert. Join us today at 12:30 p.m. as two of these musicians return – as UF2: Unidentified Flying Duet. Sam Peoples is a pianist extraordinaire, who comes from a legendary jazz family in the Fillmore. Beyond Chron columnist (and District 10 Supervisor candidate) Eric “Doc” Smith is a musician, producer and recording artist who has worked with the likes of Brian Eno, Madonna, Warren Zevon & John Scofield. “Concerts at the Cadillac” is a monthly series of free Friday noontime concerts – at 380 Eddy Street (@ Leavenworth), featuring the Patricia Walkup Memorial Piano. Everyone is welcome to attend.
