To the Editor…

I agree with virtually all points made in this story, it’s very well done, and necessary to say over and over again. However, I strongly disagree with the invitation to protest the soccer games of kids of landlords who engage in evictions. Targeting their families, kids in particular, should be absolutely off limits. The kids didn’t decide what their parents do to make a living, and no one should ever, ever protest in this manner. Kids are off limits. Always. It’s far worse than picketing the buses – they may be the wrong targets, but at least they are filled with adults. I hope you will correct this and renounce any protests which would scare or harm children, even those whose parents you don\’t like. We need to be effective activists, not thugs.
